What a ride… literally! Late last night, our “Rick Bus” pulled into Washington, D.C., just in time to watch the Super Tuesday results come in.
Pro-life hero Rick Santorum won the primary elections in Oklahoma, Tennessee, North Dakota. And what’s more, Santorum came within 1% of winning the critical battleground state of Ohio, despite being outspent five to one!
Jack, across the country pro-life Americans are clamoring for a tried and true pro-life leader – and momentum for Rick Santorum has never been stronger. While momentum is on our side, we also have a long way to go. The nomination process is far from over, which is why the SBA List needs your immediate financial support to keep up our efforts.
Your SBA List was proud to launch a bus tour through Michigan to help mobilize pro-life voters for Rick Santorum. And then, through your generosity, we were able to continue through Ohio, Tennessee, and Georgia giving Rick a much-needed boost across the Super Tuesday states.
It was incredible to travel through both urban and rural areas of our nation, meeting pro-life men and women of all ages who are FIRED UP about Rick Santorum. I also met many young men and women who, though too young to vote, were phone-banking and eagerly reaching out to all their older family members to encourage them to vote for Rick.
Their activism – and the generosity of the SBA List family across the country – paid off on Super Tuesday.
Last night’s results revealed an important truth, Jack:
Pro-life Americans want an END to President Obama’s assault on our conscience rights, religious liberty and the lives of unborn boys and girls.
If we have any hope to defend the lives of the innocent, the most pro-abortion President in our nation’s history MUST be defeated. And only Rick Santorum will be a clear contrast to our current leadership -- he is the candidate to beat President Obama.
