Dear Jack,
It’s bad enough that hundreds of precious unborn children are dying every hour in our country.
It is even worse that we’re being forced by our government to be complicit in this atrocity.
It all comes back to Obamacare. Did you know that this Friday marks the two year anniversary of President Obama signing it into law?
I know you may be weary from fighting, but for the sake of every unborn baby, we cannot and must not stop fighting Obamacare.
While we must do everything possible to replace President Obama with an authentic pro-life leader in November, we can’t just sit on our hands and wait for that to happen.We must take action now.
On that note, here are two things you can do this week to stand up for Life: - RIGHT NOW: Use the SBA List Action Center to send a message to President Obama and Secretary Sebelius. Tell them that their war on the unborn, women, and religious liberty is not going unnoticed and that there will be consequences for their actions this November.
- THIS FRIDAY: Rally for Religious Freedom! Across the nation, Americans of faith and conscience are protesting the Obama HHS mandate that forces ALL employers, even if they are religiously affiliated, to pay for insurance coverage of abortion-inducing drugs, contraception, and sterilization. Rallies are happening in cities and towns across the country this FRIDAY at noon. Find the rally nearest to you and bring all your pro-life family, friends, and neighbors.
Here’s why it’s so important you take action:
You see, last week, HHS Secretary Sebelius announced the “final rule” for state health insurance exchanges under Obamacare.
I don’t want to get too much “into the weeds,” so here’s the bottom line: Under Obamacare, millions more Americans will be enrolled – many unknowingly – in health care plans that include elective abortion coverage subsidized by American taxpayers.
Those plans will charge enrollees – regardless of age and gender – a minimum of $1 per month – an “abortion surcharge” – that will go into an abortion slush fund.
Let me explain how many Americans will be "unknowingly" enrolled into these plans. Under the rule issued by Health and Human Services (HHS), the “abortion surcharge” only needs to be disclosed once – in the fine print – during the enrollment process. The “abortion surcharge” is then rolled into the monthly premium and is never disclosed again.
Jack, we must fight back against this vicious, unprecedented assault on Life. Please take two actions right now: Thank you for standing up, Jack. I know this has been a long fight, but your continued activism can help us save lives.
