Members of the Cold Case Posse in Maricopa County, Ariz., whose report to Sheriff Joe Arpaio yesterday confirmed there is probable cause to believe Barack Obama’s much-ballyhooed birth certificate document is a forgery, have begun briefing members of the county law enforcement team who may be involved in hunting for those responsible.

At a news conference yesterday, Arpaio and the chief investigator for the specially appointed Cold Case Posse, Mike Zullo, confirmed that they had found evidence of forgery in the creation of the birth certificate image and fraud in the presentation of that piece of work as a real government document.

They also said they found Obama’s Selective Service registration likely forged, and they said it appeared as though officials in Hawaii were covering up information about Obama. They also said it was not outside the realm of possibility that Obama might have been born overseas.

All of this relates to the Constitution’s demand that a president be only a “natural born citizen,” which is not defined in the Constitution. But many analysts believe at the time the document was written that would have meant the offspring of two citizens of the country.

    Even if they find the guy that created the forgery what are they going to do with him. As long as Erik Holder is watching Obama's back, it isn't going anywhere.

    U R exactly correct They could have proof up the ying yang and no one (either side) would do a thing about it.
    No more than they do anything every time he or the rest of them for the last 40 yrs breaks the Constitution.
    I have concluded that all of them (bar a hand full; DeMint; Ron paul; paul Ryan, u get it) are a bunch of "con men"

    Yes it was and I'm afraid it may happen again. My question is, why don't they just go to the stooge and ask HIM who HE had alter the certificates. HE was the one that presented it to the country as being his!!!

    I don't know why they waste their time and money when we all know absolutely nothing will be done about it. Eric Holder will simply dismiss any and all evidence that can be brought out. Even the Supreme Court will ignore it.

    At first when this appeared, I thought that the "Birthers" were a little crazy and that this was just a wild accusation. However as this has gone on and on, it seems that the evidence is getting stronger and stronger and that it is not going away. Each piece of evidence that Mr. Obama gives seems to be more proof of a cover up. Where are his transcripts from schools and colleges? Did anyone know him in grade school, Junior high, Senior high and college? Where are his friends that he grew up with? Why are the documents that he has produced been doctored with Photoshop? Why is his social security number from a state he did not live in? It just keeps getting worse and worse!

    If I'm not mistaken, the "forger" admitted to producing the document months back (was it on Alex Jones' site?)
    The crime wasn't in his producing it but Obama actually USING it and posting as his own. Arapaio should have done his homework a little deeper.
