Why the Gun Industry Secretly Loves Obama | CowboyByte

Why the Gun Industry Secretly Loves Obama | CowboyByte

        • Sally E. says:
I like Perry’s stand on firearms. But his position on illegal immigration is terrible. It is my understanding that he is against a border fence and e-verify. That is just unacceptable. I believe that even Romney is better when it comes to illegals. I think Byron York wrote a column recently on this subject. See if you can find it. It really opened my eyes. Perry will have to get much tougher on illegals to get my support.
        • Guido says:
          Hello, Texas001
“Dick” Perry is going to continue with his “open-borders, sanctuary-Country” mentality if elected POTUS, just as he has done for three terms down here in TX. You should know that what he says and what he does are typically at polar opposites.
We need to focus on OUR PRIMARIES, not the us vs. Obama race. We could field Shirley Q. Liquor and win that race.
We, as conservatives, need to focus on who will best carry that flag, not who is tha best “compromise” with the commies in the sleaze media and their buddies in the republican party. Our future will be won or lost in the Primaries, that crucial part of the election process so often overlooked because it just doesn’t get the media hype the General election does.

        • A_Nobody says:
Texas. I don’t make the jump you have. I can give you another name besides Cain I would vote for. Alan West. As to Perry, I’ve checked on his history and don’t like what I see. Especially around illegals and his other social practices. His speeches, to me, overstate and just don’t ring true.
          • GINGER GHENT says:
WEST IS AN HONORABLE MAN…HE SAID HE WOULD SERVE THE PEOPLE OF FLA.AND THAT IS WHAT HE IS DOING..HE IS ONE MAN I WOULD VOTE FOR FOR POTUS.MARCO RUBIO, JOE WALSH MIKE LEE, AND ESPECIALLY JIM DEMINT WOULD ALL DO VERY WELL THERE ARE A FEW OTHERS COMING UP..BUT WE NEED TO SEE HOW THEY FARE IN D.C.
          • caron says:
A-Nobody.. I would sure like it if it were to be Allen West.
          • CWO4 Larry, USN Ret says:
One problem with Rubio is that he too is ineligible to be POTUS. Unfortunately, he is not as defined by the Constitution and the Supreme Court to be a “Natural Born Citizen”. The way I read it is that Rubio’s parents were Cuban at the time of his birth, although, unlike obamee he was born in the U.S.
        • BillG says:
          Texas001,
Denying Cain because he is black betrays your bias. Of all the contenders I’ve heard, he is the only one that has expressed a plan for getting people back to work that makes any sense. Color has nothing to do with it, man. Listen to what he’s saying and judge that.
        • Ed` says:
I think Cain is the best in the box now, black or white makes no difference I feel he is the best for the job not a political sucker like the rest living off there Gov. how many of them have said only one term and no benefits after you leave not sure if Cain would endorse this but at least he isn’t a career politician in fact he has never held office and I don’t believe he is a lawyer
        • Mary says:
Texas001, I totally agree. Perry is our man for President. He reminds me of Reagan.
      • retired Chief says:
Sarah or Michelle are each man enough to put the one worlders to flight!!!
        • Abe Lincoln says:
Don’t forget the other “femine” winch Hillary!
        • Sirwizard says:
Chief, yer right on. I have to say, though, that I’d vote for your housecat or my dog before I’d vote for Obama.
About those guns…I owned two when Mr. Obama was elected and a modest couple of boxes of ammo. I have increased my gun stash 500% since his election. Each one was purchased at a garage sale, estate sale, or gun show. There is no paper trail and no registration. I bought not less that 2,000 rounds of ammo PER GUN. I too, expect things to deteriorate soon. I hope I’m wrong, but the old soldier in this 30-year retired U.S. Army man has that ‘tingly feeling’ you get right before an enemy attack.
          • Texas001 says:
As far as a paper trail, all the guns that I have bought and were recorded I have sold to someone (I can remember their names) so I don’t have those anymore. Matter of fact I don’t own any guns today. ;)
          • Suggest you go spend a bunch more money, Sugar. I’m willing to believe you’re a crack shot who comes home with eleven bunny rabbit/squirrel/whatever tails for every ten rounds, but if we’re right you are seriously short of ammo. Sad thing, isn’t it, when we can’t use an old expression without the danger–and it is a danger–of someone calling us “racist.” All I had in mind was an old standard of a good shot. And…the big upswing in guns and ammo started a couple of months before the election. I suggest we stop looking at skin color and start looking for character. It isn’t easy to find. LBT
        • Guido says:
          Hello, Chief
          Ditto that!
Sarah has more gonad than all of the dem’s and three-quarters of the repub’s combined!

      • pikemaster says:
I at this time would have to agree. It’s too early to see if Perry would be the right guy or not ?? As I remember reading just a few weeks ago ,that Perry hasn’t answered the gun issuses about exactly where he stands on it ?? Is there a reason behind this. Alot of Anti-gunners carry guns because they are above the law and know more than they think we do. Becareful of wolves in sheeps clothings ????????????????????????
        • Jerome from Layton says:
Good point. During her first run for Senate, Dianne Feinstein made a BIG DEAL about her getting a concealed carry permit, in San Francisco. This is the same Senator who said she didn’t get as much as she wanted in the 1994 Gun Control Act. She went on to say “Mr. and Mrs. America, turn them in, turn them ALL in.”
          • luca Brasi says:
We need this Feinstein piece of crap in OUR government like a Turtle needs a Flight Plan ! … an as to Sara Brady havin’ Cajones , Should we be fortunate enough for our next president to be a REAL American, the b1tch may have a problem Keepin’ ‘em !
        • Joseph C Moore, USN Ret says:
Too early to know if…? Look at past performance and you will see that most of the candidates are politicians first and WGO shills. The ONLY candidate who has never wavered on the constitution is Ron Paul, but the electorate will decide based on PROMISES that politicians NEVER keep.
        • dwain says:
Perry carries when He is jogging and have never heard Him promote gun control.
    • Paul M. says:
I Totally Agree, OUR Country was Founded under Judeo Christain Principles!
As long as this Country of Ours continues’ to turn its’ back on The Law-God’s
Law, The 10 Commandments and the total backing of Isreal, Our Republic will
continue to Gravitate at a extremely rapid pace towards a 3rd World Country status
and Our Constitution will become exterminated by thoses in D.C.
Always Remember, why Our Founding Fathers chose #1 Freedom of Speech and #2
The Right of the PEOPLE to KEEP and BEAR ARMS, shall NOT be Infringed.
Praise god in the name of Jesus Christ!
    • Steven says:
I would have more respect for those that mention the Bilderberg group if the would name ANYONE they DON’T believe is a pawn. Even someone I have never heard of would make them more credible.
      • Robert Young says:
Steven, Ron Paul is not a Bilderback Group supporter.
        • dwain says:
Ron Paul is out of touch with reality when He has no problem with Iran going nuclear and with drawing support of Israel .There are a lot of countries We should with draw support for but Israel is our only friend in that part of the world.
    • Robert Young says:
Elect Ron Paul President in 2012 and give him a Constitutional Conservative controlled House and Senate and he will give the United States back a strict Constitutional Government and eliminate laws that have been forced on us. He, with Congressional approva,l will downsize our Government.
      • Ric says:
        HEAR! HEAR!
I only wish he could get elected.
      • sd says:
all that may be true, but ron paul can not win he is already a two or three time loser, and i don’t know of anyone that wants dope to be legal and he also has some silly idea that illegals will leave of the gov. cuts off the welfare, ask yourself where would these people go if they were allowed to stay here even without the welfare they still would be better off in the U. S. than where they came from.
      • David in MA says:
I agree. however, Ron Paul is not a “shucker & jiver” like obozo
and doesn’t have the pizazz of the handsome others on the stage.
I would like to see a Ron Paul/Sarah Palin,
or a Ron Paul/ Rand Paul ticket.
AND, the next president to investigate the obozo admonistraton, all
the way from the top down and convien a grand jury and special prosucuter.
Justice must be sought for America for what obozo has done to this wonderful country.
      • GINGER GHENT says:
PAUL’S LACK IS UNDERSTANDING THE DANGERS WE FACE, LIKE IRAN…HE DOES NOT TAKE THEIR THREATS TO OUR WAY OF LIFE,AND VERY LIFE ITSELF,SERIOUSLY….THAT IS ONE AREA WHERE YOU DON’T GET A “DO OVER”. PERHAPS HE COULD BE EDUCATED ON THOSE POINTS, BUT I FEEL THAT HE THINKS THAT HOW HE SEES THINGS IS NOT GOING TO CHANGE.HE SAID MAKE NICE WITH THOSE LIKE IRAN AND MAYBE THEY WOULD RECIPROCATE.THOSE GUYS DO NOT PLAY WELL WITH OTHERS.
        • Sun says:
Ginger: Please read the constitution!! It clearly states that we are not to delve in the affairs of foreign nations, sign treaties with foreign nations, and our military force was created to enforce and protect THE BORDERS OF THE UNITED STATES, not our “interests” in foreign countries!! If our elected reps et al followed the Constitution we wouldn’t be in the mideast in the first place, and hence the mid-eastern countries wouldn’t have so many reasons to hate us and want to kill us. We need to attend to our own country and quit trying to take over the entire world and all their natural resources. GREED of “One-Worlders” is what is killing us, and WE are allowing it. I am 100% in favor of Ron Paul because what he stands for is not only the Constitution, but he has not wavered from it. Also, FYI, he has NEVER taken a paycheck in all the years he has been in government. DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE YOU JUDGE!!
    • OH Patriot says:
Amen, both sides have been the problem, and I also believe that Perry is more of the same.
    • uzitiger says:
The DemocRATs and Republicans are all ‘progressives’ who pretend to be against each other while they work against us.
      • BigIron says:
It’s NOT a Republican verses Democrat battle in which we are engaged; they are both controlled by the “power elite” (the Bilderbergers, the Crown, the Vatican, the military-industrial complex, the big international corporations, the “power brokers” who imagine themselves the aristocracy of the Earth).
It IS a battle of the people verses the “power elite”, all else is just “chaff”!
The “power elite’s” version of “Peace on Earth” is to have “willing slaves” who will just do as they are told, eat what they are told, buy what they are told and serve at the whim of their “masters”! Look around you … it IS already happening!
  1. JoeV says:
I have owned firearms and make new purchases on occasion. Obama had no bearing on my purchasing firearms. I have a permit to carry and myself or anyone else is physically threatened would not hesitate to use my firearm. It is my second amendment right to own firearms.
Shel, most people purchase their weapons from reputable dealers and not flea markets unless they are collectors. Or perhaps you need to find new friends!
  2. Edith says:
He should have been kicked out a long time ago—–DO IT, NO DELAYS—SEND HIM TO PRISON
  3. Bimbam says:
We must remove the negro anyway. Who is more evil than to ALLOW evil men to rule?
VOTE 2012 and remove the negro and his illegal minions. oBUMya is illegal and all his edicts, czars and laws are thus NULL and VOID.
Round up Congress, the Supreme Court, because they ignored the supreme law of the land and ALLOWED the illegal negro to rule over us and cause TRILLIONS in damage. We have, in affect left a debt to our grandchildren…. and that ain’t right.
    • airport 27 says:
Bimbam, thanks for saying so well what I’ve been trying to say to the sheeple I know: The other branches of gov’t are complicit in allowing the enemy imposter to remain in the WH. Even our own congressman, himself considered to be a possible presidential candidate, and a teaparty favorite refuses to question BOH’s eligibility. I say, quit all business as usual in any of the branches of gov’t until the enemy is removed. Why bother about the enemy in Afghanistan or Iraq when he’s in the WH?
    • DaveZX3 says:
“the negro” in the sense of Obama, or in the racial sense? I don’t get it. What is the value of speaking in terms of “the negro”?
If any sort of racism is going to be part of a conservative ticket, then the ticket will fail miserably. The overwhelming majority of the nation have gotten over racism, and there will be a significant backlash if race is brought into the politics of 2012.
Now is the time to speak out against any evidence of racism, whatsoever, coming from the lips or pen of someone representing a conservative viewpoint. Any terms like “the negro” should instantly and vociferously be challenged in large numbers. Every time it is not, large numbers of votes will be lost. That is the reality of it. Racism is not going to get anyone anywhere.
We do not oppose Obama because of his race, but because he is a f…king big government socialist, who is furthering the international socialist movement’s agenda to neutralize America to pave the way for the “no borders” dreams of the big money international socialist pigs who would not only destroy America, but Israel, Great Britain and all other Judaeo-Christian nations in the hope that they will also be destroying the return of these nation’s (recognized or non-recognized) savior, Jesus Christ.
Like it or not, it is truly a religious war, where we are fighting to remain “One nation under God”, and that is not “god” but GOD. Jesus Christ. Period. That is the struggle, not what color the believer’s skin is. Better get that straight right now, because that’s the way it is going to be.
You can dress it up anyway you like, but if the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is not the God of the United States of America, then America is essentially lost. Separation of Church and state, whatever; BUT separation of the USA and her God, NEVER.
    • Insurgent says:
      you misspelled nigger!
      • bugtech says:
Saw a funny bumper sticker. ” Please vote in 2012 and don’t RE-NIG”
      • BigIron says:
Actually, a “nigger” is someone who behaves in a “niggardly” manner or fashion and has nothing to do with race other than as a corruption of meaning. I have known a number of “niggers” of the WHITE race in my time on earth.
While “nigger” may be an appropriate description of its target it is probably NOT an appropriate word by the usage intended.
      • emerutil says:
        Agree! Nigger nigger nigger!
      • No, BimBam’s spelling is fine, he/she is just showing his/her age. That is the term polite people used fifty years ago. I still get very uneasy when they are referred to as “black.” Well…they might not have noticed and we’d hurt their feelings? Got a “Miss Lily” story for you: I spent much of my time early on watching my first professional basketball game ascertaining that the players had hair in their armpits! Well…how was I to know? I’ve always wondered if they are really black all over other than their hands and palms. (I suppose so? Again, how would I know? And who knows about 3/8 black, half white, and an eight Arab…or so they say?) The “N” word refers to behavior, not skin color. Ah, I see BigIron is with me, here.
    • Lewis/Virginia says:
DEMS love to play the RACE CARD, DON”T YOU!
    • Windrinker says:
Am watching the 911 Ceremony and it is disgusting to see the black muslim and the big-spending (whatever she is) addressing and attending this service! If anyone didn’t need to be there, it is these two… This foreign muslim and his comment, “The most beautiful sound I have ever heard, is the muslim call to prayer,” is not the approprate person to “stand in” for a real president.
This is not on topic, but the naming over and over of the innocents killed on 911 is beginning to be “shameful.” It is shameful because we are still staring at two holes in the ground! We have not yet recovered from the attack by, “the believers of islam!”
How powerful this must make our enemies feel….while we still weep and morn!
It appears we cannot rebuild and “shove it back in the face of these enemies!” As long as we continue to morn instead of rebuilding….they continue to be empowered! Every time they hear us weeping, they are greatly pleased…it brings them joy! Are we a rich and powerful Nation, or are we showing weakness and inability to cope! Can’t we get passed something that we cannot change, and show some strength….
The muslim world has suffered no such attack, we “arrest” a few terrorists and send them to jail…kill a few in sporadic gun battles…and pay to bring their relative to the U.S. to live… They bring their attorneys, their religion, their laws and want to force it on us! What kind of response is this from America!
And, to add to our disgrace, there may very well be a new mosque built on ground zero, before the towers are ever replaced (if they are ever replaced!) The mosque will overlook those two holes where the financial center of this country once stood. There is no doubt, this is an “in your face” from these same enemies. It is an effort to show us that they had a great victory, and they take pride in it success… Otherwise, they would not insist on this location. They will continue to be prideful as long as we never rebuild what they destroyed!….. What good does it do “to remember,” courage of those heroes, when we have not had the courage to replace what we lost. It belies the greatness of those left behind and their ability to recover. But, we have a nice “water fall” flowing down in a hole… Just my opinion.
      • Lonetrader says:
If you paid 100 million for that property, and then collected more than a billion from the Insurance company. Would you rebuild. They were privately owned. The owner of the property probably collected from the Fed govt also. The survivors families were paid hundreds of thousands of dollars by our govt. WHY? The man that owns the building is a member of, you guessed it, The Bildeberger group. You have to be a multi multi billionaire to be a member. I would bet that the insurance company received a huge amount back from the govt to cover their losses. Who paid for 911? We did. The people.
        • Windrinker says:
Understand what you are saying. You are right, a bilderberg would not care if holes were left in the middle of Manhattan. Bilderbergs consider themselves (like the muslim), to be, “citizens of the world.” Wondering, then, what all the “talk” was about, when the plans were to rebuild and architects submitted their visions for the new towers…. Guess, that may have been before someone suggested that the towers should not be rebuilt.
    • BigIron says:
I find your attempted inclusion of “RACE” in this discussion unnecessary, irrelevant and disgusting.
  4. Jerry Alexander says:
    Congress??? Talk about cowards..in spades!!
