Age of Revelation
The Escondido Theology

While Thomas Paine's Age of Reason gets a great deal of press from skeptics, misinformed separationists, and atheists of every stripe, almost no one mentions Elias Boudinot's book-length response.

Paine is considered to be an American Founding Father, and yet, unlike Paine, Boudinot actually served in a civil capacity in the United States that included work on the Constitution. Paines only elective office was in France. Boudinot is a true American Founding Father. Paine had no role in the founding conventions of America and their documents.

American Vision has rescued Elias Boudinot's The Age of Revelation from the dust bin of history, put there and covered over by academics who fear that their students will find out that they've been lied to about Americas founding. Boudinot understood that Good government generally begins in the family, and if the moral character of a people once degenerate, their political character must soon follow.

Newly typeset and published as a smythe-sewn (not glued) hardback with a beautifully designed dust jacket, this limited edition is the finest version of this valuable work that you will find. Original copies are impossible to find. Boudinot was not an academic, and yet The The Age of Revelation surpasses most of what is passed off today as Christian scholarship.

What Washington Can Learn from the World of Sports
The Escondido TheologyNow Over 50% Off for a Limited Time!

Politics and sports: they're two of Americas greatest passions. And George Allen, former U.S. Senator, former Virginia Governor, and son of the great NFL coach George Allen, Sr.brings these two worlds together in his new book, What Washington Can Learn From the World of Sports.

Having spent his life with one foot in the sports arena and the other in the political arena, Allen brings his unique perspective and experiences to What Washington Can Learn From the World of Sports.

Through personal stories, anecdotes, and interviews, Allen draws both parallels and contrasts between two of our nations favorite passions. From national security, to wasteful government spending, to judicial activism, Allen proves that our government need look no further than the football field, baseball diamond, or basketball court to solve todays pressing problems.

What Washington Can Learn From the World of Sports shows what Washington can learn from the greatest moments and failures in sports, as well as from the spirit and principles of fair play, hard work, and keeping score.

The Escondido Theology: A Reformed Response to Two Kingdom Theology
This book is a critical analysis of a theological movement John Frame calls The Escondido Theology. The name is chosen because this movement developed mainly among faculty members of Westminster Seminary California which is located in the city of Escondido, California. The Escondido Theology

Some members of this school of thought, such as Michael Horton, Meredith Kline, and Darryl Hart, are well-known to students of Reformed theology. But these figures have never before been discussed as composing a distinctive school of thought. More often they have been discussed as individual theologians, or simply as representatives of the orthodox Reformed theological tradition. But they are not simply Reformed; they hold views that are quite distinctive, unusual and controversial.

In Dr. Frame's view, these positions are not standard Reformed theology. None of their distinctive positions is taught in any of the Reformed confessions. These positions are an idiosyncratic kind of teaching peculiar to the Escondido school. Those who teach them are a faction, even a sect. 1 Taken in the plain sense of the terms, their positions are all unbiblical. Dr. John Frame's The Escondido Theology is a needed corrective to the rapidly growing advocacy and acceptance of a two-kingdom approach to theology and culture.

It is not only timely, considering the popularity of Two Kingdom Theology, but also because he is the right individual to address the issues, having previously served as a Professor at both Westminster in Philadelphia and then as a founding faculty member at Escondido. Dr. Frame personally witnessed the inception and development of this doctrinal view in Escondido. Dr. Frame's insight and analysis clearly represents my Christian World and Life View because it is historically rooted in Calvinistic theology.
