Did you know that Planned Parenthood, America’s largest seller of abortions, receives nearly half a billion dollars each year in taxpayer funding?
In 2010, Planned Parenthood performed over 320,000 abortions. 91 out of every 100 pregnant women that walk into a Planned Parenthood clinic for “pregnancy services” come out without their child. For every 392 abortions Planned Parenthood performs, they make just one adoption referral.
I know it’s outrageous.
Thankfully, our leaders in the Arizona legislature are doing something about it.
They’ve introduced HB 2800 which would end taxpayer funding of abortion providers in Arizona. Despite vigorous opposition from Planned Parenthood, HB 2800 has passed the House and is awaiting a vote in the Senate.

Many taxpayers across Arizona don’t realize that Planned Parenthood gets their tax dollars. Nor do they know that Planned Parenthood is America’s abortion giant.

- In 2010, Planned Parenthood performed 9,600 abortions in Arizona alone. Nationally, they performed 329,445 abortions.
- In Arizona, abortion procedures accounted for half -- 49% -- of Planned Parenthood’s clinic revenue in 2010.
- Nationally, 91 out of every 100 women that walk into Planned Parenthood for pregnancy services receives an abortion.
- For every 392 abortions Planned Parenthood performs, it makes just one adoption referral.
- Planned Parenthood has over one billion dollars in net assets. Despite this, 46% of their overall funding comes from taxpayers.
