Friends,

This is a critical time for American security as Iran shows no signs of abating their quest for nuclear weapons that will jeopardize the safety and security of the entire globe. Israel, which is surrounded by nations that profess a desire to wipe her off the face of the earth, is prepared to strike first and prevent a nuclear Iran. America must stand with Israel, in opposition to a nuclear Iran!

This week marks a critical stage In Iran’s ongoing struggle with the international community over its nuclear program. We have formed a petition to send to the White House and Congress to tell our leaders that We Stand with Israel. We CANNOT and WILL NOT accept a nuclear-armed Iran.

SIGN OUR PETITION:
A PLEDGE TO SUPPORT ISRAEL

An IAEA (the UN’s nuclear watchdog and decidedly not pro-Israel) report suggests Iran has tripled its capacity to enrich uranium to elevated levels of 20%, a near final precursor to developing nuclear weapons. This announcement comes as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the White House yesterday to hold discussions with the Obama administration.

Let’s face it. Regardless of the rhetoric from President Barack Obama, he is not a friend of Israel, and he certainly has a low opinion of Netanyahu. If we don’t keep the pressure on this President and Congress, we risk the kind of passivity and inaction that will lead to dire consequences. You would have thought by now that those who desire peace would recognize that it comes from strength, not appeasing, apologizing, bowing and otherwise showing weakness.

Both leaders addressed the Pro-Israel public affairs committee, AIPAC. Obama used the occasion as a campaign speech to persuade Jewish voters and the committee that he supports Israel wholeheartedly and is committed to stopping Iran from producing nuclear weapons through economic and diplomatic means.

It is vitally important that the American people show Obama that words and pandering are not enough. It is time to announce clearly We Stand with Israel to rid the world of the Iranian nuclear menace.

Please sign the petition and show Obama that We Stand with Israel on these principles:

1. Prevent Iran from ever attaining nuclear weapons capability

2. Support Israel directly and indirectly if she sees fit to militarily remove Iran’s nuclear threat

3. Encourage other nations in the middle east to publicly oppose a nuclear Iran and denounce rhetoric and violence against Israel

4. Support legislation aimed at strengthening the US-Israeli defense alliance

Israel believes that Iran is close to a “zone of immunity” where there will be no stopping the regime from developing nuclear weapons. This is absolutely unacceptable. While the Administration downplays these events and concludes that Iran has yet to make a decision on enrichment to weapons grade material, Israel cannot afford to hope for the best. If America is wrong, Israel does not get a second chance. Then we don’t get a second chance.

Obama insists we must give sanctions against the Iranian regime time to work, but sanctions almost never work – making life miserable for the average person, but not afflicting the ruling elites in the slightest bit. The Mullahs that rule Iran are not going to give in to sanctions, no matter how much harm their citizens endure. By waiting for sanctions to hobble the country and working with the feeble international community to hopelessly look for a solution that is acceptable for all, Obama is signaling the Iranian leadership to continue unabated. He is essentially saying that the world will not stop you.

The IAEA report states in part:

“…Iran failed to respond to allegations of research relevant to developing nuclear arms…’The Agency continues to have serious concerns regarding possible military dimensions to Iran's nuclear program’"

“In what would be a big expansion, Iran has increased the number of centrifuge machines enriching uranium - material that can be used to make atomic bombs if refined much further - by well over a third since late last year, the report indicated.

Preparatory work to install thousands more centrifuges is under way, potentially shortening the time needed to make high-grade uranium for nuclear weapons.”

Iran is shifting the most sensitive aspect of its nuclear work, 20 percent enrichment, to the site (Fordow)…Estimated to be buried beneath 80 meters (265 feet) of rock and soil, it gives Iran better protection against any Israeli or U.S. military strikes.”

You certainly read these words and concluded, like we do, that Iran is indeed moving towards nuclear weapons production, regardless of the sanctions being brought against it. But look at some of the quotes from this Administration and the military leaders intimidated by President Obama’s weak policies.

-The Administration's Iran strategy is aimed at "buying time and continuing to move this problem into the future, and if you can do that -- strange things can happen in the interim," Tony Blinken, national security adviser to Vice President Joe Biden, told the Israeli Policy Forum in New York Tuesday, Haaretz reported. "You never know."

-Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Martin Dempsey: “…I'll tell you that I've been confronting that question since I came into Central Command in 2008. And we are of the opinion that the Iranian regime is a rational actor. And it's for that reason, I think, that we think the current path we're on is the most prudent path at this point.”

This is what we are facing within the Obama Administration. Both of these men ignore the facts on the ground that Iran has no intention of giving in to the international community to stop its nuclear work. A rational actor would heed the demands of the world community.

It is time the American people tell Obama and our leaders that We Stand with Israel.

Please sign the petition and send this email to as many friends and acquaintances as you can. Not only Israel’s security is at stake, but the security of the entire free world depends on taking the correct steps now.
