You are right on,except for two points. One is reps terms are 2 years not 4. And I agree We the PEOPLE need to repeal the 17th amendment and put the appointment of Senators back into the hands of the States that Senators serve! By doing this WE the PEOPLE can limit outside influence on OUR SENATORS! WE the PEOPLE do need two SENATORS from each STATE for debate and as a backup in case of sickness or dead. Think of this with the repeal of the 17th. amendment There would be no need for all that money to elect OUR SENATORS! By doing this WE the PEOPLE can limit outside influence on OUR SENATORS!

I am an old (80 my next birthday) retired Air Force Sgt that agrees with you all the way. However, I am in a real quandary as to how we can find one, of the many, that will standup and lead the rally to impeach. Of the many that want to headup this nation, not one has had the guts to lead the charge. If they dont have the guts for that, then I cant help but wounder where they will get the ability to handly this nation if elected. If one of them would lead the charge I have the feeling they would win the election by a landside.

I whole-heartedly agree with Liz. Herman Cain is the man. I don’t care if he is black, white or purple with pink polka dots! He has a proven record in his professional career…and not as a career politician! When are we going to learn that great speeches are misleading and not enough? Cain has great ideas and offered those ideas in the debate last week. He went straight to the point laid the groundwork of his ideas in clear, concise language. If we elect Perry, we’ll get bushwhacked. If we elect Romney, we’ll get the Republican version of Obamination. I like Newt but his only purpose at the debate last week was to position himself to be a running-mate.

As my 11 year old would say, “Well DUH!” My favorite gun shop has a poster on the wall that features a picture of comrade obama with the caption “Salesman of the Year”. Ever since obama was elected people have been buying firearms and ammunition in record numbers. This is what gun control, or even the threat of gun control, does. People who never had an interest in guns before are now getting their CHLs and attending gun shows as well as showing up at the local shooting range. Casual shooters have turned into gun hoarders who are buying and stockpiling everything that can fire a bullet. The fact that the gun industry loves obama shouldn’t come as a surprise.
