Is anyone shocked by this statement? Is there any difference between this demand and the demand by a single athiest calling for the usurping of the rights of thousands of people in cities and towns throughout the land? When are the people of this country going to extract head from ass and get back to living the life that the Founders gave them at the cost of their blood and tears?
This whole bowing and kowtowing to one or a handful of athiests every time I turn around makes me SICK!!!!!!!!!!

Look what Madelyn Murray O'Hair started, one woman took prayer from schools. I don't know what has happened to the American people, and it seems everyone "caves." Taking away the cross is infringing on the rights of the people to put it up, yet a court would rule for the rights of one stupid woman. If I lived in that town she would wake up to crosses in her yard. I want our America back, and I want the same rights the courts give to the athiests, Muslims and border hoppers.

I also don't appreciate people forcing their religion on me, therefore, I will not force my lack of religion on them! People of religious believes need to tell the athiests to look the other direction if a cross is so offensive to them and NOT bow down to their cry baby ways.

colleenf Embarrassed • 2 hours ago As a Christian, I can tell you that if we were to get into a civil discussion about religion, and you wanted to tell me why you don't believe in God and His Son, I would tell you why I do believe. That is not "forcing" my beliefs on you or anyone else! That is merely a discussion of beliefs. This is what most atheists and many liberals do not understand.
Muslims believe that they have to force others to believe as they do....or they will die a horrible death at the hands of the muslims. This is an example of "forcing" beliefs.
Christians do not do that. We believe in letting you know about God and Jesus, but only if you want to hear it. Putting up a cross or other symbols of our belief is no more offensive than rain is to a flower.

What has happened is the very worst thing that could have happened. The town leaders were thinking with their pocketbooks and not with their leadership of the town. But the person, although working for the deceiver, is still capable of repenting and turning to God. So love them. Pray for them. Be kind to them. If I understand that verse, it means that ALL of the problems of our NATION are occurring because those people who CLAIM to belong to God and Jesus Christ, have turned from serving Him and are full of wickedness. For this nation to be saved, the people in the churches need to abandon their materialistic, selfish, focus on themselves and bow before God in repentance.
The last great revival was started by 3 people who were praying together in a small church in New Hebrides. A young pastor, an 80 year old woman and a blind woman of 65 years. When God finally answered, the blind woman spoke up and said, "I SEE the church, full of young people."
This battle is not between people. It is about principalities and powers. And in ALL of the strength and power of humanity, we will fail to win. If you have ANY hope, it MUST be in Jesus Christ.

Even though it's nonsense, remember Saul Alinsky's Rule #9 from Rules for Radicals: "The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself." This is remarkably easy to counter. Simply plant a little menorah next to the Nativity scene and their lawsuits go right where the sun don't shine. Fight fire with fire. After they leave in disgust, remove the menorah, or leave it up as a reminder that they are not as smart as we are. Merry Christmas, all.

The battle against school choice is joined by the atheists because parochial schools will get some of the money. The 1st amendment (which never hinted at separation of church and state) implies that gov't should be apathetic towards any specific religion. If a parochial school costs less per student and does a far better job ... then NOT allowing gov't to save money and get better results for parents willing to send their children to those schools is anti-pathetic, not apathetic. These uber-intellectual atheists are working to keep our populace public-school educated (aka clueless). Then the indoctrinated can be more easily led into atheism and many other baseless faiths (atheism a faith with no reasonable explanation for creation). So atheists join the unions and gov't in conspiring to hold power and keep the population indoctrinated and dumbed down ... which is the opposite of what atheists claim to be doing.
