Rep. Allen West has long faced the ire of the entitled left in America, in no small part due to his willingness to speak the truth. He has been an advocate for limited government, has fought for serious cuts to federal spending, and has been a leader in the House of Representatives. Perhaps most importantly, he's given a voice to those of us who want to tell the blowhards in the liberal media to sit down and shut up!
Allen West is a decorated war hero who served 20 years in the US Army, he was a high school teacher in Florida, and he served as an adviser to the Afghan National Army in Kandahar. His record of public service is longer than almost any other member of Congress, and his unwavering support for the ideas of limited government, fiscal responsibility, and free markets is surpassed by none.
Because Allen West speaks the truth, calls the left out for its lies, and doesn't mince words when discussing the disastrous policies of Barack Obama and his allies in Congress, he has become the top political target of Democrats and the political establishment.
The Florida legislature tried to draw Allen West out of Congress, putting more Democrats into his already Democrat-leaning district, and Democrat leaders have gone as far as to say that defeating Allen West is their #1 priority! In fact, this week the Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee is launching a robo-call attacking Allen West for his support of commonsense solutions to Medicare. This offensive distorts the truth and is aimed at scaring seniors in West's district out of supporting him.
We can't stand for this! That is why we are launching a counter-offensive to defend Allen West against these baseless attacks. At the end of the week, we will release our own robo-call setting the record straight and defending Allen West!
In order to reach enough voters in the district to sway public opinion, we need to raise $10,000 THIS WEEK. If you support Allen West, if you want to see a great patriot re-elected to Congress, and if you want to stop the Democrats from achieving their #1 objective in 2012, then make a donation today to the Allen West Defense Fund!
