Urge the Federal Government to implement a sensible National Ocean Policy

The National Ocean Policy Draft Implementation Plan proposes more than 53 federal actions that call for:

A national zoning plan that could cordon off vast areas of the ocean from human activity developed only by government officials;
New studies that could unnecessarily and indefinitely delay commercial and recreational activities; and
A new federal land grab of millions of acres of onshore and offshore areas.

Implementation of the National Ocean Policy, as currently proposed, stands to limit domestic energy development and harm for our nation's economy.

Tell the Obama administration that we simply cannot afford any new actions that threaten to further hinder our ability to create jobs and achieve energy independence by developing our own resources.
