SBA List - Advancing, Mobilizing and Representing Pro-Life Women

Jack,

Wow!
Since Marjorie’s urgent appeal on Friday morning for donations, I am so excited to tell you that we’ve been flooded with financial support (and I’m sure some prayers!) from hundreds of SBA List members across the country. Some are giving $5, $10, or $25. Others are giving as much as $100, $250, or even $500.
And guess what – it all adds up.
As Marjorie told you on Friday, we need to raise $62,500 to sustain our efforts, and already we’ve raised just over $28,000. We’re already nearly half way to our goal!
Your donation will help immediately fund:
  • Our “On the Air” and “On the Ground” campaign on behalf of Rick Santorum in Michigan. Right now, as I write this e-mail, Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave is on our “Rick Bus” hitting town after town across Michigan (even in the snow!). Meanwhile, right now, we have a 60-second radio ad being played across the state on Christian, country, and sports stations. As you may know, the Michigan primary is just a day away, and polls show it’s a dead heat. [Donate Now]

  • Our efforts to Defund Planned Parenthood at the federal level. Just last week, Congresswoman Musgrave traveled to Arizona to rally the grassroots in support of legislation developed by the SBA List and our friends at the Alliance Defense Fund that prioritizes taxpayer funding away from abortion providers like Planned Parenthood. Well over 200 people joined us at Women Speak Out: Defund Planned Parenthood rallies in Glendale and Tucson. And this week, SBA List is headed out to Ohio where Chuck Donovan, president of the Lozier Institute, the research arm of the SBA List, will testify in support of a bill that would also direct taxpayer funding away from abortion providers. Meanwhile, legislation that would defund Planned Parenthood has passed a key committee in the Oklahoma legislature and we are busy working to pass our bill through the New Hampshire State Senate. [Donate Now]

  • Our efforts to protect conscience and religious liberty. Next week, the U.S. Senate will be back in session and will vote on the Respect for Rights of Conscience Act, which is co-sponsored by Senators Roy Blunt, Kelly Ayotte, and Marco Rubio. This important legislation would undo the damage caused by President Obama and HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius who together have waged an all-out war on our freedom of conscience and religious liberty. The SBA List is preparing to mobilize activists across the country to support the bill. [Donate Now]
I can’t thank SBA List members enough for keeping us in your prayers as we continue to fight relentlessly in these battles to protect unborn children and their mothers from the violence of abortion.
And please do give if you can to help us reach our most urgent goal to ensure we can continue firing on all cylinders.
For Life,

Emily Buchanan
