Several Republican legislators voted against five important illegal immigration bills today in the Senate, preventing every single one from passing. This is outrageous considering the state is broke and most Arizonans want our borders enforced. Vast numbers of people around the country are now in favor of eliminating automatic birthright citizenship. These legislators are not representing their constituents. There is one more opportunity for these bills to be brought up for a vote again. We need you to call, email or visit these turncoat legislators and demand that they support these bills. Their duty as legislators is to the citizens of Arizona, not the citizens of foreign countries! The illegal immigrant sympathizers like to say, "Why are we punishing the children for the sins of their parents?" Senate President Russell Pearce, who supports these bills, responds: "Why are we punishing the citizens of Arizona for the sins of their parents?" These legislators are trying to appease the illegal immigrant lobby. APPEASEMENT DOESN'T WORK. It never has and never will.
Here are the bills and the Republican legislators who voted against them. Please contact them ASAP and let them know you will not tolerate another no vote. If they vote against these bills again, the Tea Parties will consider recalls against them. Their phone numbers and email addresses are on the AZ Leg website. You can also use the website service Life, Liberty, Freedom to email all of the Arizona legislators for free.
