I've spent that last 3 years fighting to defend our conservative values from Barack Obama and Nancy Pelos's far left agenda. In 2012, I'll be fighting to defend my seat in Congress as well.
Because Iowa loses one Congressional seat in 2012, the state legislature completely redrew the maps. Redistricting has placed me in a new district where I haven't represented over half the voters. I'm proud of my Constitutional conservative record and I'm confident voters in this new district will trust me to continue fighting for limited government, low taxes, and our shared traditional values.
But I won't win this race without getting my conservative message in front of voters who aren't familiar with my record. This means TV ads, radio ads, and direct mail—and none of those come cheaply. That's why I need your immediate help.
Former First Lady of Iowa, Christie Vilsack, is trying to score this seat for the Democrats. She's explicitly said that she's not only running to beat me but to "help re-elect this president," too. With Nancy Pelosi, George Soros' son, and Planned Parenthood as her biggest supporters, Vilsack has the full backing of the liberal establishment—and they're willing to spend whatever it takes to force me into retirement.
