The President’s latest unconstitutional “mandate” that even religiously-affiliated organizations must provide contraceptives and abortion-inducing drugs to their employees tramples on every American’s First Amendment rights! This is nothing short of tyranny!

Our religious liberties are being systematically crushed.
If President Obama can “mandate” that we violate our consciences in paying for contraception and abortifacients under the ObamaCare law, will there be any end to what can be demanded by the federal government?
My friend and colleague, Ken Blackwell, and his co-author Bob Morrison, described the moral implications of this outrageous violation of the Constitution this way:
“The HHS mandate will force us to violate our consciences and provide drugs that can cause abortions. To us, killing unborn children at any stage is never health care. It is a grave sin.”
++We must take action NOW. We cannot afford passivity in the face of this historic threat to our religious liberty!
There are three pieces of legislation making their way through both Chambers of Congress, any one of which can counter Obama’s “contraceptive and abortifacient mandate.”
Liberty Counsel Action is supporting the passage of any or all of these bills – which will likely be reconciled into one bill if the individual measures pass their respective Chamber.
Next Tuesday, after Congress returns to session, we will petition our Legislators to fast-track and pass one or all of those three pieces of legislation. I am praying for at least 100,000 signatures on our petition which will be hand-delivered to Capitol Hill.
Right now, we are well over half way to reaching that goal!
But Jack, I have not heard from you yet on this threat that affects ALL Americans’ rights. I need your signature by Monday morning to be included in this extremely important petition delivery.

Yesterday, President Obama and Joe Biden drew another line in the sand, saying they will do whatever it takes to keep their socialist policies moving forward – with or without Congress!
Has there ever been an American President who so blatantly expressed disdain and disrespect for our constitutional system of checks and balances?
That’s why this recent mandate is much more far-reaching than the single issue of forcing Americans to pay for contraception and abortion coverage.
This mandate tramples on our religious liberties – and if it stands, it will empower the Obama administration to do even more constitutional damage according to its will and whim.
Perhaps most alarming of all, Barack Obama sincerely believes he will get away with this outrage!
Mark my words: If we bow to the Obama administration’s dictatorial “mandates,” which are totally void of constitutional authority, then we have, in fact, become subjects to an oppressive regime unlike any we have yet seen in American history.
Ken Blackwell and Bob Morrison rightly called for every American who understands the nature of this threat to launch an immediate counter-assault…
“This HHS health care mandate is the gravest assault on religious liberty in American history. We must legislate against it. We must sue in federal court. We must line up behind the twenty-six states that are already challenging ObamaCare in federal court.”
This is why Liberty Counsel Action is calling on concerned Americans to tell Congress to override Obama’s mandates through legislation. I am asking for 100,000 signatures by Monday – including yours.

++Are we “citizens” or “subjects”?
In my opinion, we are no longer “citizens” in the eye of the Obama administration, but, in fact, “subjects” to this autocratic President who has trampled the Constitution, seized power far beyond his office, and imposed “mandates” that differ little from dictatorial commands.
I am calling on you to take a minute to tell your elected officials to pass one or all of the bills that will STOP the administration’s “contraception and abortifacient mandate.” This is extremely important!
