As you know, days ago President Obama announced a “compromise” after his mandate forcing religiously-affiliated institutions to pay for insurance coverage of abortifacient pills, contraception, and sterilization caused a national uproar.
This compromise – which makes government the arbiter of individual conscience -- can be described in one word: unacceptable.
TAKE ACTION: Contact your Senators immediately and ask them to vote for the Blunt Amendment #1520 which will reverse the President’s mandate.
Jack, my sources on Capitol Hill say that the Senate could bring up this vote as early as today – which is why I need you to act now.
President Obama did not compromise: Forcing insurance companies to be directly responsible for providing abortion-inducing drugs and forcing religious organizations to cooperate is an assault on Life and religious freedom.
Please take action immediately by contacting your Senators and asking them to vote in favor of the Blunt amendment as soon as it comes for a vote.
Then, send forward this message to at least 10 of your pro-life family, friends, and neighbors and ask them to stand for Life and conscience. It takes just moments to use the SBA List Action Center to contact Congress.
