Last December, I wrote very candidly about the year just ahead... Just after the 2010 mid-term elections, I said: “The battle is far from over! Now we MUST make sure incoming elected officials stay true to the mandate that got them elected. And, we need to press forward to Take Back America in 2011.”
“2011 will be a critical year as we ‘rebuild the foundations’.” “Here is my pledge to you: Liberty Counsel will remain standing at the epicenter of the battle for the soul of America against the calculated and seemingly endless assaults on our liberties!”
You need look no further than the current news to see that, just as we anticipated, 2011 saw a dramatic escalation of “clashes of visions” for our nation’s future.
++Threats to life, liberty, and the natural family continue.
In a December 6th Presidential Memorandum, President Obama dictated that the power of the United States of America will now be used to coerce foreign nations to accept pro-LGBT lifestyles for their own people!
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton then announced “...a wide-ranging effort to use U.S. foreign aid” to promote the rights of “gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgendered persons.”
A shocked world community, much of which still holds to a standard of decency and has anti-sodomy laws in place, has pushed back in disbelief at the Obama Administration’s arrogance!
Is there not a cause for which patriots ought to take action?
++Liberty Counsel is fighting at the very heart of this battle.
As I’m sure you know, the Supreme Court recently agreed to review the constitutionality of ObamaCare. This law is the largest government power-grab we have yet seen in America and the court battle to stop it will likely be resolved by June 2012.
Liberty Counsel remains one of the leading public interest law firms fighting to get ObamaCare struck down and will soon file an important brief before the High Court on this landmark issue. We will not rest until ObamaCare is no more! Our ongoing fight against ObamaCare is just one many battles just ahead of us in 2012...
On another front, we are the only organization positioned to overturn New York’s same-sex “marriage” law. Earlier this year, a New York judge sent shock waves throughout the state when he ruled our suit could go to trial!
Now we will depose Governor Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Michael Bloomberg about their violation of New York’s Open Meetings Law, the penalty for which is to void the law entirely!
++The countdown to determining our national destiny has begun.
Threats to American sovereignty, to life, to liberty, and to the foundational institution of the family loom over us. I am convinced that the next several months will literally determine the destiny of America and the future of Western Civilization.
The challenges ahead are enormous – yet, we know that God has uniquely equipped us for these Goliath-sized battles. And with the support of friends like you, we remain confident of future victories in the battle for our culture.

We stood together in 2011, in Patrick Henry’s words, to “trust God, and our better judgment to set us right hereafter” – and together we helped change the course of America!
At each pivotal crossroad, we refused to give up in these fights despite overwhelming opposition by well-funded radical organizations. Jack, we have come to another crossroad for which I call on you to help.
