In England, the Foreign Service is preparing British citizens living on the Continent for rioting if the European Union breaks up or the euro disintegrates. This was reported in the London Telegraph.

Diplomats are preparing to help Britons abroad through a banking collapse and even riots arising from the debt crisis.

The Treasury confirmed earlier this month that contingency planning for a collapse is now under way.

A senior minister has now revealed the extent of the Government’s concern, saying that Britain is now planning on the basis that a euro collapse is now just a matter of time.

“It’s in our interests that they keep playing for time because that gives us more time to prepare,” the minister told the Daily Telegraph.

Recent Foreign and Commonwealth Office instructions to embassies and consulates request contingency planning for extreme scenarios including rioting and social unrest.

The EU treaties that created the euro and set its membership rules contain no provision for members to leave, meaning any break-up would be disorderly and potentially chaotic.

If eurozone governments defaulted on their debts, the European banks that hold many of their bonds would risk collapse.

Some analysts say the shock waves of such an event would risk the collapse of the entire financial system, leaving banks unable to return money to retail depositors and destroying companies dependent on bank credit.

Americans don’t care. “That’s over there. It will not affect me.” They forget that America exports to Europe. Those exports could fall dramatically. There could be a domino effect.

What you see there is what’s going to happen here but it’ll be 10X worse here in the USA. Again I would suggest you click on my name, page 2, aftershock chapter 13 and read away. Have fun folks. The fun has just begun. Yes, I am still NOT for using our tax dollars to bail out Europe for any reason and don’t give a d-a-m-n what happend to them or Asia.

We just sent $54 Billion to Europe the other day, and over the course of 2007 to 2010, the fed has sent $16 trillion.

True, but please, it’s Revelaation, as in one. God didn’t give multiple revelations to John. He only gave one. Unfortunately, with the spoiled populace America has, when easy times get tough, things will really get ugly! If people don’t get what they think they “deserve”, they will riot, and take it.

Yea, sticking your head in the sand and hiding when evil exits has always worked, hasn’t it! Thank god previous generations of Americans didn’t think like you or we wouldn’t even have what we have today! We certainly wounldn’t be “America”.
This relates to the second amendment. We take away the ability of folks to defend themselves and hope everything turns out “all right” or we all realize the world can get nasty, and have the where-with-all to stand up for what is right and put a stop to what is wrong, no matter the cost. I will always die fighting , rather than die with my hands tied behind my back begging.

Maryanne – an Iq of 15 is pretty low. Our real problem are those with room temperature IQs. According to polls, that’s 43%!

I happen to know some folks with some pretty hefty IQ’s and they are still screwed up. Matter of fact, I think I know more Americans with less than steller IQ’s who have much better common sense about what this nation needs. It’s not rocket science. It’s basic common sense! The constitution is not difficult!

As a Catholic conservative Navy Vietnam era veteran, I am very concerned about the stance of the Catholic Church in America toward Mr. Obama. I recently received a return letter from AB Timothy Dolan, the president of the US Catholic Bishops Conference, in which he voiced the fact that he felt very comfortable in reconciling with Mr. Obama in a White House meeting over his stance on abortion. Conservative Catholics believe that Mr. Obama is the second coming of King Herod in his killing of the Holy Innocents and now we have a prominent Catholic bishop apologizing for his attempt to have Mr. Obama redefine his beliefs on abortion. The American bishops have taken a socialist stance and support the socialist president and believe that he is just misguided in the area of abortion. Good luck on that! Republicans have been defined as evil practitioners of the evils of capitalism. According to Malachi Martin, this comes from a concordat arranged in the Vatican between John XXIII and the Russian government. Duh! Islam wasn’t at the meeting.

Anyone who has been following the currency trading and banking news lately would have noticed a very small tag line on the statements from the EU summit meeting the beginning of this week. The minister tagged his news release with the suggestion that the 17 EU nations should further join into one sovereign nation like the currency is and that would give them the ability to control the currency and banks better. No more financial problems.

It was just a side note but I think it gives a peek of what their ultimate direction is. A “One World Government” one step at a time. Makes me wonder what step the USA is???????
