Dear Jack, It appears I spoke too soon yesterday. Under heavy pressure from the Abortion Lobby, the Susan G. Komen Foundation has reinstated their funding for Planned Parenthood. I am deeply saddened by their decision to continue support for an organization that kills hundreds of thousands of babies every year. But there are two points I would like to make: First, it's obvious the Komen Foundation responds to pressure, so I urge you to go to the comment page on their website and give them a piece of your mindhttp://ww5.komen.org/Contact. Second, while this may be disheartening, it must not distract us from the even more important fight of defunding Planned Parenthood at the federal and state level and of passing a Life at Conception Act to overturn Roe v. Wade. Clearly, there is a lot of work to do. So it's vital we stay the course in fighting for the unborn. For Life, Martin Fox, President National Pro-Life Alliance P.S. If you can, please chip in with a contribution by clicking here. Your National Pro-Life Alliance is entirely dependent on voluntary contributions to keep our vital programs running. We receive no government funding. Because of NPLA's tax-exempt status under IRC Sec. 501(c)(4) and its state and federal legislative activities, contributions are not tax deductible as charitable contributions (IRC § 170) or as business deductions (IRC § 162(e)(1)).
