Stop Hunting & Shooting Ban On Public Lands

Pretty soon you may not be able to shoot on public land. The Bureau of Land Management is closing record amounts of land to recreational shooting. Just last year, the BLM closed over 400,000 acres of public land in three states to recreational shooting.

That's right - the Bureau of Land Management is using their regulatory powers to STRIP YOU OF YOUR HUNTING RIGHTS! You can stop the BLM from banning shooting on public lands in your state. Rep. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) has introduced the Recreational Shooting Protection Act (H.R. 3440). The bill would require that the BLM receives congressional approval for any shooting restrictions on public lands.

Families have been hunting on public land for centuries. Banning shooting from public lands will snatch away the ability for millions of Americans to hunt and use firearms recreationally for target practice. You see, many Americans do not own farms or ranches. Public lands are theONLY place they can hunt.

Now, you have to be wealthy enough to buy a large parcel of land to hunt? It's outrageous! The only other way Americans would be able to hunt would be to join a pricey hunting club. In this economy, most families DO NOT have the money to afford a hunting club membership.

Rep. Flake said,

"Banning recreational shooting sports on public lands is yet another example of this Administration's bureaucratic overreach. The Recreational Shooting Protection Act will ensure that Congress exercises appropriate oversight over the BLM's proposed closures.

Remember, protecting our freedom is not inexpensive.

But then, it's impossible to put a price tag on freedom.

Together, we can preserve the Constitutional rights our Founding Fathers intended our people to have forever.
