  1. That’s why the Paulbots REALLY support Congressman Paul.

    • DV says:

You are SO wrong! MANY, including my self, that do NOT smoke pot support Dr. Paul. What we DO support is the CONSTITUTION. You should try it some time….

    • Insurgent says:

Anybody but the illegal, lying Kenyan chigger !!!!

    • ziegenfarm says:

i have to agree. sad, but if that’s the only reason they support paul, our nation is in real trouble. they are far more concerned about getting loaded than they are about foreign affairs, the economy, or the future of their children & grandkids. :(

    • Freeme says:

WAS THE SUBJECT OF ‘POT’ and making it an ‘ISSUE’ the only words againstRON PAUL’S PLATFORM? IF SO…HE IS A WINNER ALREADY, and WE THE PEOPLE know it! The rest of you wash your hands of the neocons and VOTE for a REAL conservative just once in your life! We NEED it, and if you dont think so, you’ve been asleep for the past 40 years.

    • dave CS says:

That is not true. America did not have the kind of drug problem in America until the government created the laws, another way to get money. Sure there are those who want pot legalized for their personal use, America has a lot of money going into the drug problem that could be used in more useful ways. Does the word Prohibition come to mind?

  2. Carmelo Junior says:

Ron Paul is a NAZI racist pot head

    • James Andrews says:

Ridiculous-he’s a smart man-Obama is much more of a Nazi, and a racist.

      • Carmelo Junior says:

Let’s pray Evangelicals in Iowa save us from Gingrich, Romney and Ron Paul voting in mass for Michelle Bachmann. She is the only Evangelical Christian in the race now. Perry is a clown with southern accent.
Bachmann is the only one that can get these primaries exciting!

        • Missy says:

I like MIchelle too but she is so far down in the polls now that the likelihood of her pulling off a victory is very low. Plus we need her and more people like her in congress. We need to let Ron Paul win the White house and vote in more conservatives to the senate. WE need to let go of the pot issue as it has to little merit and sadly it makes us look like useful idiots.

          • arpiem says:

Paul isn’t a conservative; Bachmann is. We can’t let the liberals pick our candidate again, something the Republicans seem to be good at.

        • Goodforalls says:

She is totally unelectable! A good woman and has solid conservative ideas but she would lose to Obammy big time. Stay with Newt-smartest person in the bunch!

          • URKiddinMee says:

Personally, I don’t really see much difference between Newt and Obozo except for Newt’s higher IQ. They’re BOTH socialists.

          • arpiem says:

I don’t see why she would lose to the loser in the WH. She’s infinitely more intelligent, can speak without a teleprompter, and would garner much support from both Christians and women.

        • Patriot says:

Gingrich, Perry, Romney – These Three RINO-migos, working along with their demo-communist counterparts, ARE responsible for the false allegations against Herman Cain, the only true conservative capable of defeating the usurpur. Paul is too radical for my vote, especially when he says he wants to patronize our enemies instead of destroying them. I will write in Herman Cain in both the primaries and the general election! I suggest you all do the same and elect the only TRUE CONSERVATIVE AMERICAN worthy of the office of POTUS!!!

      • bob w says:

Let’s not join the liberals in the mis use of the word Nazi. Nazi’s are socialists that believe in big powerful government. I may not agree with Ron Pauls positions on everything, but no one can claim he stands for big powerful socialist government.

    • Missy says:

This is the most absurd and untrue statement I have ever read. If anyone has a record that shows he supports our national socialists it is Newt.

    • Bob in Boston says:

LOL you anti-conservative neocon extremists are getting more and more desperate every day! :-)
It must be KILLING you that the most conservative candidate is actually going to win Iowa. Polls today show Ron Paul within a point of Gingrich – it’s only a matter of time!
Fortunately the people of Iowa are good at finding out the truth about candidates – that’s why Ron Paul has been rising in the polls every single week and is only 1 point out of first place!
Now if we could just get the rest of the country to think with their heads!

      • Dani says:

        Ron Paul 2012!

      • URKiddinMee says:

Actually, I think The Gipper and Nancy said “Just say no to drugs.” It was Tricky Dick Nixon who declared the “War on Drugs.” and like “The War On Poverty” and Prohibition, all have been a complete waste of time, money and resources.

      • URKiddinMee says:

But I’m certain that your name calling will result in a tremendous influx of new Ron Paul supporters. I know that I always respond favorably to those tactics.

      • Mary A says:

What makes anyone think that Ron Paul is going to get along with anyone in WDC; especially the demos? He has a lot of good things to say but he is one scary person. He will NOT be able to change things in WDC the way you all think he can. It takes the Congress and the Senate to make the change. Work hard to vote in as many conservatives to those two houses.
“Ron Paul is believed to be a “fiscal conservative” and if you ask him he will tell you that he has never voted for an earmark. That statement is 100% correct. What Paul does is to make sure that the earmarks he wants are put into a bill, and then he votes against the bill. It’s the best of all possible worlds. He gets to bring home the bacon on a local basis and makes the anti-earmark claim on a national basis.

In fiscal 2009 Ron Paul sponsored or co-sponsored 23 earmarks totaling $80,775,750 ranking him the 33rd highest out of 435 representatives. (source: Open Secrets):http://www.redstate.com/jeffdunetz/2010/04/14/the….

I don’t like Mitt or Newt but I do like Rick Perry. America is not ready for a wonderful conservative like Michell Bachmann because our Nation has turned their back to God and are not putting Him first in their lives.

    • Roger says:

I am not a libertarian, but I am for limited government and civility toward each other. Ron Paul is right on many issues. I am for legalizing all drugs under the supervison of doctor who can prescribe them and try to get those addicted off of them. It beats giving the money to drug lords.

      • Mary A says:

Talk about a wacko society now what in the world do you think we will get when we let lose more druggies to run amock? What next? Cocaine, LSD, or any other drug legalized. One foothold leads to another. Believe me, it will happen in a society that has rejected God to the point that WE have ALLOWED atheist to take down crosses and Christmas scenes; get a grip! Have we gone nuts to let this happen?

    • traitors in gov says:

get off this site… you have your own,,, it is called moveon.org..

and no I will not vote for Paul in the primaries, but will vote for him if he is the conservative nominee…. anyone is better than the ILLEGAL-ALIEN HOMOSEXUAL OCCUPYING THE WHITEHOUSE…..

Now, Paul’s foreign policy sucks… yes, I said it.. We cannot afford to let Iran have a nuke…PERIOD……

but, we do need to bring ALL OF OUR SOLDIERS home, get our border secured and strengthen our country, then protect ourselves and our ALLIES… the ones that won’t use our guns against us…

  3. Scott C in Spring Tx says:

So many people grow it in their homes these days, it is a loosing battle trying to keep it out of our society, it may as well be legal. If we taxed marajuana like we tax alcohol there is no telling what the revenue might be. There are people that brew their own beer and wine, and there will be those that grow their own pot, but most of the lazy pot heads would go to the store and purchase the cigarettes already rolled. Legalize it, tax it, and for the smarter people in our society, do not partake.

    • ACEMAN says:

Exactly, Scott. I’ve been saying that exact same thing for years. If they would just legalize it and regulate it, not only would it create jobs and save struggling farmers, it would create revenue for the state and federal government! • Goodforalls says:

You are so right! Legalize it-sell it-control it-tax it. Get the picture?

      • m says:

We have a choice! Legalize, tax, and regulate pot,or make alcohol illegal!!!!!!The POT would become an instant hit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Bob in Boston says:

MJ is scientifically proven to be far safer than Alcohol. It is literally impossible to overdose, and it’s been proven not to be physically addicting. MUCH safer than most prescription pharmaceuticals too. Anyone still working under the assumption that it’s somehow “dangerous” must be super-gullible and saw the “refer madness” propaganda back in the 60s. Then again Americans tend to be super gullible – look how they constantly fall for the “they hate us for our freedoms” and “weapons of mass destruction” propaganda.
It’s so scary how few people do critical thinking nowadays…

    • Sylvia M. Auten says:

HAVE YOU EVER LOOKED INTO THE EYES OF THOSE ARRESTED FOR GROWING THEIR OWN OR OBTAINING IT FOR DISTRIBUTION. THEY
ARE CRAZIER THAN THE AVERAGE CRAZY. THE MEXICANS ARE GROWING
IN OUR NATIONAL PARKS, OF ALL THINGS, AND THEY ARE DISTRIBUTING IT TO GANGS AND OUR YOUNGER GENERATION. WE MAY AS WELL FORGET THE CONSTITUTION AFTER THE METH HEADS AND DRUGGIES TRY TO RUN THE COUNTRY. WAKE UP AMERICA. WANTING YOUR OWN WAY ALL OF THE TIME IS NOT THE ANSWER.

    • John Detwiler says:

While I don’t use and never have, I see no sensible reason why Pot shouldn’t be legalized. After all we have legalized alcohol and that is also a very habit forming drug. As far as calling pot a gateway drug. well you can say the same for alcohol. After an addict is an addict.

    • Mary A says:

Scott, there are NOT that many smart people in our society today!!!

  4. Missy says:

The war on drugs is an abject failure that has filled our jails and cost our nations billions of dollars and yet the conservative party continues to support keeping this weed illegal. It is time for us to let this nonsense go. Pot was legal when the nation was founded and it should be legal again. It was made illegal over racial issues not sound medical evidence and even today the vast majority of the medical research conducted finds it to be less dangerous than many of the prescription drugs we willfully ingest. Not to mention that fact that if we gave up this pathetic fight that we get many more votes but I digress.

    • Mary A says:

The war on drugs would NOT be a failure if parents taught their children in their homes right from wrong. Why do you think the schools are having so much discipline problems in the schools? Our grandchildren are given so much homework, sometimes hours and hours of it, because the teachers have to deal with undisciplined children and they can’t teach. The State demands they give State test and they have to pass so the teacher has to give homework to make up for teaching time.
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old (mature), he will not depart from it.
It worked for us. Put God first in your life and in your home and see the difference it makes. We made a lot of mistakes but we stuck with God’s Word, prayer and tough love.
