If Eric Holder refuses to resign as Attorney General, we are calling on Congress to impeach him, pass their “Vote of No Confidence” resolution, and/or take any other action they think will pressure Holder’s resignation. No matter the means of his removal, tens of thousands of Liberty Counsel Action team members are calling for an end to Eric Holder’s dereliction of duty and gross mismanagement of the Department of Justice! Eric Holder must go! Scores of congressional and political leaders are also uniting to call for Eric Holder’s resignation or impeachment. For instance, Representative Paul Gosar has introduced a House Resolution for a vote of “No Confidence” that has scores of signers. I expect there to be a substantial increase in the number of congressional signers after we deliver our petitions to Capitol Hill early next week! From the day Eric Holder took his oath of office as Attorney General, his tenure as our nation’s “top law enforcement officer” can only be described as one scandalous dereliction of duty after another. ++Obama and Holder actually wanted to “legalize” deception! To cite just one of many examples of Eric Holder’s unacceptable tactics, last fall the Attorney General sought to alter the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) protocol to make it LEGAL for the Department of Justice to misrepresent facts concerning the existence of documents requested under the Act! Can you imagine a law enforcement agency designing a procedure solely for the purpose of deception? After this outrageous scheme received an uncomfortable amount of public attention, the initiative to revise the FOIA was removed in November. NOW is the time to put an end to Eric Holder’s scandalous mismanagement of the nation’s highest law enforcement office. NOW is the time for Eric Holder to step down as head of Barack Obama’s Department of Justice! As we revealed earlier this week, a federal judge in the case of Holder v. Pine has raised serious concerns about why the Attorney General filed a lawsuit on behalf of an abortion clinic against a harmless lady who violated no law. Liberty Counsel represents Susan Pine in this case. From the beginning, we said that the suit was politically motivated to silence pro-lifers, and now the court has confirmed our fears about the Attorney General. At the same time, the Attorney General must take responsibility for the tragic “Fast and Furious” gun fiasco where weapons supplied by the federal government to the drug cartel ended up killing an American security officer. Attorney General Holder must go!
