Dear Jack, I just sent you a note asking you to contact your Congressman and Senators. Unfortunately, it had the wrong phone number on it. The correct number is 202-224-3121. Sorry for the inconvenience. Martin From: Martin Fox [martin.fox@ Sent: Friday, January 27, 2012 4:19 PM Subject: It's time to hold them accountable Dear Jack, Most politicians are more than happy to take pro-lifers' votes on Election Day. But if it were up to them, they'd just as soon ignore us -- at least until the next election rolls around. Well, every day, more than 4,000 unborn babies have their lives violently snuffed out by the horror of abortion. One and a half million every year. I know you agree that just mindlessly mouthing pro-life rhetoric on the campaign trail isn't good enough! Instead, it's time for our politicians to keep their promises and do everything they can to stop abortion's ongoing slaughter! Together we must work towards getting your Congressman and Senators to cosponsor the Life at Conception Act (H.R. 374/S. 91). If passed, the Life at Conception Act would finally put an end to abortion-on-demand -- ironically by using the very language of the Supreme Court's horrific 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling. In fact, in the Roe v. Wade ruling, the Court noted that if life was ever declared to begin at conception, then unborn babies must be protected by the U.S. Constitution. You see, from the moment of conception, unborn babies have their own unique DNA. From that moment forward, their hair and eye color -- and all the way down to the shape of their little toes -- has already been determined. Passage of the Life at Conception Act would simply legally recognize that FACT and by doing so overturn Roe v. Wade -- saving millions of innocent lives in the process. That is why it is so important to continue to build support for the Life at Conception Act in Congress where National Pro-Life Alliance members have already recruited 139 House and Senate cosponsors. So I hope you'll check below to see if your Congressman and Senators have yet cosponsored the Life at Conception Act. For those who have not yet cosponsored, please urge them to do so immediately. You see, each additional cosponsor ratchets up the pressure on Congressional leadership for public roll-call votes. That's why I hope you'll also take the time to ask your elected officials that have cosponsored to urge House Speaker John Boehner and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell to schedule a roll-call vote on the Life at Conception Act. And please chip in with a donation of $10 or $25 to help National Pro-Life Alliance add cosponsors to the Life at Conception Act. Once forced to vote, we'll find out exactly which Members of Congress are just mouthing pro-life rhetoric -- and which will truly fight to end abortion-on-demand. The truth is, if every Member of Congress who claims to be pro-life actually voted that way, you and I would finally end abortion-on-demand! By getting a roll call vote, you and I will expose the "wolves in sheep's clothing" in Congress. Any Member of Congress who votes against our Life at Conception Act must understand they will pay a high price when faced with reelection in 2012. That's why I hope you will chip in with a donation of $10 or $25 now. Your National Pro-Life Alliance has already delivered more than one million petitions to Congress. And now with your contribution, the National Pro-Life Alliance will massively turn up the pressure on Congress to force a vote on the Life at Conception Act. In fact, we hope to contact up to 5 million additional pro-life Americans from all over the country. Then, once votes are scheduled, I plan to mobilize another 5 million pro-lifers in target states urging them to pressure their Congressman and Senators to vote to pass the Life at Conception Act. Meanwhile, as Republican Presidential and congressional primary elections begin to kick in to high gear, the National Pro-Life Alliance will continually flood every candidate's office with signed Pro-Life Petitions! This constant barrage of petitions won't stop until every candidate pledges to fight for passage of the Life at Conception Act. But none of this can happen without your help. In fact, it all starts with folks like you. That's why your generous contribution of $10, $25, $50 or more is so important. The truth is none of this will be cheap. But I know you agree you and I can't stand by silently while more than 4,000 unborn babies have their lives violently snuffed out every day -- one and a half million lives extinguished every year. Every life is precious. Every life deserves protection. So please chip in with a donation of $10, $25 or $50 right away by clicking here! Let's fight to save innocent lives! For Life, Martin Fox, President National Pro-Life Alliance P.S. It's time for elected officials to do everything they can to stop the abortion mills' ongoing slaughter of more than one and a half million innocent babies every year. They can do that by passing the Life at Conception Act (HR 374 / S 91). So please, do these two things: Please contact your Congressman and Senators. Give them an earful if they have not yet cosponsored the Life at Conception. At the same time, be sure to thank those who have cosponsored, and ask them to urge House Speaker John Boehner and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell get roll call votes on the Life at Conception Act. Your Congressman Representative Trent Franks is a cosponsor of the Life at Conception Act (HR 374 and HR 212) Your Senators Senator John Kyl is not a cosponsor of the Life at Conception Act (S 91) Senator John McCain is not a cosponsor of the Life at Conception Act (S 91) I hope you can chip in with a contribution of $10, $25, $50 or more by clicking here to help the National Pro-Life Alliance push for cosponsors for the Life at Conception Act. |
