‘Impeach Obama’ to fly over Rose Bowl Parade

A 12-foot high Sky Banner emblazoned with the words “Impeach Obama” will fly 3,000 feet above the Pasadena Rose Bowl parade,reaching an estimated one million parade route viewers.
Two San Diego groups, Stop Obama Now and the Impeach Obama Tea Party recently flew a similar banner at the USS Carl Vinson college basketball game, which Barack Obama attended.
“We feel the media has practiced a huge double standard. Criticism of Obama is suppressed,” supporters write on their website. The two main reasons the Impeach Obama groups are gaining traction is people are now really starting to pay attention to our Constitution’s Article II, sect. 1, paragraph 5.
The requirement that a resident must be a natural born citizen runs up against the fact that Barack Obama’s father was a subject of Great Britain in 1961 as a citizen of their protectorate, Kenya. This issue is now front-and-center as part of the questions surrounding Obama’s Hawaiian birth certificate. Dual citizenship parentage negates eligibility to be a president.

Hope they can pull it off! Would not be surprised if Obama supporters see to it that this is not allowed. Now if this was against any Republican it would be allowed for sure. Can you say double standard?

They’ll most likely sabotage the plane so it can’t take off. You’re right they should have kept it quiet.
If it were up to me, I would hide the airplane and then take off unannouced and fly over head.
Unfortunately, it that occurred, the pilot would lose his licence and be subject to criminal sanctions from the FAA. Without filing your flight plans with the Airport, and going to the extent of “hiding” the aircraft–could also be interpreted as a Homeland Security issue. You can bet the Obamaadministration would prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.

Just fly in uncontrolled airspace. Take off from a private farmers/ranchers field VFR (flight plan NOT required)and claim your VHF radio doesn’t work. After all the FAA does require the controlled airfield to be able to use light signals. Uncontrolled airfields you are on your own

Patti, you are correct. I live in San Diego, where the original banner was flown…and even though it was not illegal, the ad company and local air traffic control received so many furious phone calls that the flight was grounded early.
